Chad is an associate in the General Litigation and Supreme Court and Appellate practices in the Chicago office of Mayer Brown. He has briefed a wide variety of matters, including in environmental law, securities law, and class actions defense. Chad is a member of bars of the United States Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit, the Seventh Circuit, the Eleventh Circuit, the D.C. Circuit, and the State of Illinois. Before joining the firm in 2009, Chad served as a law clerk to the Honorable Diane S. Sykes, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Chad received his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he graduated with distinction, was a member of the Stanford Supreme Court Litigation Clinic, and served on both the Stanford Law Review and the Stanford Journal of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties. Chad also received his B.A. with honors and with distinction from Stanford University. |
